As stated in a relevant announcement by the Municipality, the responsible parties had consistently failed to respond to the Municipality's requests for the removal of the installation from the premises and its relocation to another site, as stipulated in the agreement with the Municipality.
In light of the above, the Municipality of Nea Smyrni not only sealed the installation and disconnected its power supply, but also imposed a significant fine on the company for the unauthorized occupation of municipal land.
It is worth noting that the contract between the Municipality and the company "Reciprocal Recycling" was signed by the previous municipal administration.
