Greek consumer price index eases to 1,6% in September

The CPI in September 2023 compared with August 2023, increased by 1.8%.

The CPI in September 2023 compared with September 2022, increased by 1.6%. In September 2022, the annual rate of change of the CPI was 12.0%, according to ELSTAT.

 The CPI in September 2023 compared with August 2023, increased by 1.8%. In September 2022, the monthly rate of change of the CPI was 2.9%. 

The average CPI for the twelve - month period from October 2022 to September 2023, compared with the corresponding index for the period October 2021 to September 2022 increased by 4.7%. 

The annual rate of change of the average CPI between the twelve - month period October 2021 to September 2022 in comparison to the period October 2020 to September 2021 was 8.7%
