Greek enterprises turnover up 2,9% in August 2024

For the enterprises of the economy as a whole, obliged to double-entry accounting bookkeeping, for which data are available on a monthly basis, the turnover in August 2024 amounted to 32,208,347 thousand euro, recording an increase of 2.9% in comparison with August 2023, when the respective turnover was 31,307,686 thousand euro.

According to data unveiled by ELSTAT, the biggest increase in turnover in August 2024 compared with August 2023 was recorded from the enterprises of the section Mining and Quarrying, per 27.7% and the smallest increase was recorded from the enterprises of the section Arts, Entertainment and Recreation, per 1,1%, while the biggest decrease was recorded from the enterprises of the section Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing, per 4.4%.
