The Overall Industrial Production Index in December 2024 recorded an increase of 5.8% compared with December 2023. The Overall IPI in December 2023 increased by 4.5% compared with the corresponding index in December 2022.
The average Overall Industrial Production Index for the period from January to December 2024 recorded an increase of 5.2% compared with the average IPI of the period from January to December 2023.
The seasonally adjusted Overall Industrial Production Index in December 2024 recorded an increase of 2.4% compared with the corresponding index of November 2024.
The index of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers division showed the greatest percentage increase, whereas the index of leather and related products division recorded the greatest percentage decrease in December 2024 compared with November 2024.
Comparing the indices of December 2024 with the corresponding indices of December 2023, the greatest percentage increase was recorded in computers, electronic and optical products division, while the highest percentage decrease was recorded in leather and related products division.
