Greek inflation increased 3,1% yoy in January 2024

The HICP in January 2024 compared with January 2023 increased by 3.2%. In January 2023, the annual rate of change of the HICP was 7.3%.

According to ELSTAT, the HICP in January 2024 compared with December 2023 decreased by 0.9%. In January 2023, the monthly rate of change of the HICP was -0.5%. 

The average HICP for the twelve - month period from February 2023 to January 2024, compared with the corresponding index for the period February 2022 to January 2023, increased by 3.8%. 

The annual rate of change of the average HICP between the twelve - month period February 2022 to January 2023 in comparison to the period February 2021 to January 2022 was 9.4%.
