Greek inflation rate on upward trend reached 12% in September

The CPI in September 2022 compared with September 2021, increased by 12.0%. In September 2021, the annual rate of change of the CPI was 2.2% according to ELSTAT recently unveiled figures.

The CPI in September 2022 compared with August 2022, increased by 2.9%.

In September 2021, the monthly rate of change of the CPI was 2.4%.

 The average CPI for the twelve - month period from October 2021 to September 2022, compared with the corresponding index for the period October 2020 to September 2021 increased by 8.7%. The annual rate of change of the average CPI between the twelve - month period October 2020 to September 2021 in comparison to the period October 2019 to September 2020 was -0.4%.
