A public procurement process has been launched for the acquisition of a property—either a single building or a complex—that will serve as the centralized headquarters for approximately 1,725 employees of the network operator, who are currently dispersed across multiple buildings within the Attica Region.
The property must comprise a total gross area of 26,000 m² of primary office space (with an allowable variation of ±10%), in addition to appropriate ancillary spaces such as storage areas, archive rooms, and service facilities. The asset must be either pre-existing or under development, intended for use as an office facility, and compliant with the internationally recognized LEED Gold certification for sustainable construction.
Location Requirements
The property must be within 850 meters of a METRO or ISAP station, located in one of the following Regional Units of Attica:
- Central Athens Sector: Municipalities of Athens, Vyronas, Galatsi, Dafni–Ymittos, Zografou, Ilioupoli, Kaisariani
- Southern Athens Sector: Municipalities of Agios Dimitrios, Alimos, Elliniko–Argyroupoli, Kallithea, Moschato–Tavros, Nea Smyrni
- Northern Athens Sector: Municipalities of Agia Paraskevi, Maroussi, Iraklio, Nea Ionia, Papagou–Cholargos, Filothei–Psychiko, Chalandri
- Western Athens Sector: Municipalities of Aigaleo and Peristeri
Property Offered for Sale by HEDNO
HEDNO (Hellenic Electricity Distribution Network Operator) is offering for sale a property with a total area of 19,004.24 m², located at 62 Kifisou Avenue in Peristeri, in close proximity to Sepolia Metro station. The property, which was previously occupied by OPAP’s corporate offices, was acquired by HEDNO in 2021 from SYNERGO S.A. (affiliated with the Syngelidis Group) for €21.52 million. It is currently listed for sale at an estimated value of €23.6 million.
Participation in both related tenders is mandatory for interested bidders. The submission deadline for offers is set for July 28, 2025, at 15:30 (local time).
