The Hellenic Cadastre has signed a programmatic agreement with the Technical Chamber of Greece.

As stated in its announcement, it undertakes to provide the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) with all necessary procedures and requirements for the submission of participation applications, the provision of training materials, and the definition of procedural terms for the examinations, in relation to the operation of the Cadastre Certified Engineers Registry.

The agreement was signed by the President of the Hellenic Cadastre, Mr. Thanos Lipas, and the President of the Technical Chamber of Greece, Mr. Giorgos Stasinos.

More specifically, the Programmatic Agreement, with a total duration of 18 months, concerns the collaboration for organizing the framework of the certification process for engineers, with the aim of their registration in the Registry of Certified Cadastre Engineers. This cooperation represents an important step toward enhancing the efficiency of the Cadastre procedures, with the contribution of TEE’s scientific and technical expertise, for the benefit of both citizens and public administration.

For its part, the Technical Chamber of Greece undertakes the provision of support services on organizational and technical matters. Specifically, it is responsible for developing an Information System for the submission of applications, providing asynchronous training for candidates, managing the examination process and the publication of results, providing 18 examination centers across Greece, and organizing relevant informational events.

This collaboration aims to organize and support all necessary procedures for the integration of engineers into the Registry, with the ultimate goal of ensuring the correct implementation of the process for correcting property geometric data, as stipulated by Law 5142/2024, and in particular, Article 7 regarding the Cadastre Certified Engineers Registry.
