The six (6) investment schemes have submitted the following financial offers (in alphabetical order
series):
- ABERTIS INFRAESTRUCTURAS S.A. – 2,700,000,000 euros.
- GEK TERNA SA – 3,270,000,000 euros.
- Association of persons BRISA – AUTO ESTRADAS de PORTUGAL S.A. – RUBICONE MIDCO, B.V. –INTRAKAT A.E. – 2,050,050,908.21 euros.
- Association of persons MACQUARIE ASSET MANAGEMENT MOTORWAY HOLDINGS S.ar.l. –FINCOP INFRASTRUCTURE LTD – 2,350,000,000 euros.
- Association of persons VINCI HIGHWAYS S.A.S. – VINCI CONCESSIONS S.A.S. – MYTILINEOS S.A. – MOBILITY PARTNER S.A.S. – 3,106,000,000 euros.
- Association of persons ACTOR CONCESSIONS S.A. – AVAX SA – MERIDIAM EASTERN EUROPE INVESTMENTS 4 S.A.S. – 2,548,000,000 euros.
According to an HRADF's official announcement, the fund will proceed with the control of the financial offers in accordance with the conditions of the tender and the above Preselected Investors will be informed of the progress of the tender process.
It is been reminded that the first step was taken from yesterday where there were no objections from the concerned schemes, paving the way for the final decisions after the unsealing of the envelopes of each offer.
Attiki Odos, which is the "apple of contention", is a modern highway, which was built in the 1990s using the concession method. It is 70 km long and is the peripheral ring of the wider metropolitan area of Athens and the backbone of the road network of the Prefecture of Attica. It is an urban type highway, with three traffic lanes and one emergency lane (LEA), in each direction. In the middle of the highway, in a specially designed space, the suburban railway runs.
With the decision No. 195/27.10.2018 of the Interministerial Committee on Restructuring and Privatizations (DEAA) (Government Gazette B΄2501/4.11.2011) the right of the State, for a further concession for up to 25 years of the Attica Road, was transferred to HRADF. after the expiry of the concession contract of 23/5/1996 between the State and the concessionaire company ATTIKI ODOS SA., which was sanctioned by law 2445/1996 (Government Gazette A' 274 /16.12.1996).
