With phased development extending through 2028, Hull Gateway is set to bolster Greece’s economy. This large-scale development, strategically located in Aspropyrgos, Greece, consists of 2 interconnected parts, the Pier and the Park, and will evolve into a trimodal logistics hub.

The Pier

The Pier’s strategic location and advanced infrastructure make it a central hub for maritime logistics and inland freight transport. It is designed as a flexible and adaptable facility, capable of supporting a diverse range of industries. With sea depths reaching down to 11.8m, the Pier will be able to support diverse customizable cargo operations, with specialized handling zones for different freight categories. It will accommodate a variety of vessels, such as:

  • Bulk carriers transporting dry goods such as grains, coal, and minerals.
  • Smaller container ships for efficient container transport.
  • Coastal tankers for petroleum products and chemical shipments.
  • General cargo ships handling machinery, vehicles, and oversized freight.

The Logistic Park

Strategically located close to the Greek capital and the major port of Piraeus, the Park will integrate advanced warehouse management systems, AI-driven automation, and, most importantly, will offer seamless access to international routes via road, rail and maritime facilities, ensuring efficiency and scalability.

The Park will comprise Section A (238,234.6 sqm) and Section B (52,733.7 sqm), connected via a bridge. It will feature 4 expansive warehouses, totaling around 140,000 sqm, designed to accommodate diverse storage needs, including dry goods and cool warehouses.

Each warehouse will include dedicated office space to facilitate operational and administrative workflow. A carefully planned 40-meter zone around the warehouses will ensure efficient HGV truck movement and easy access to 124 loading stations.
