IHG Hotels & Resorts has announced a management agreement with the Jadeer Group for the operation of a new hotel under the Hotel Indigo brand in Cairo.

The 120-room hotel is slated to open in 2031 and will be an integral part of the Red (G) mixed-use development. This urban regeneration project will encompass residential, retail, and hospitality components and is situated on North 90 Street, a highly sought-after location in New Cairo.

The development benefits from a strategic location near the New Administrative Capital, the American University in Cairo, and other prominent business and leisure hubs.

This agreement forms a key element of IHG’s strategy to expand its Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio across North Africa. The Hotel Indigo brand is renowned for its properties that artfully combine the local heritage with contemporary culture, delivering an authentic and immersive guest experience.

Currently, IHG operates eight hotels in Egypt across four brands: InterContinental, Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn, and Staybridge Suites. Furthermore, the company has plans for 22 additional hotels in the country, underscoring its strong and sustained commitment to the Egyptian hospitality market.
