Jean-Pierre Hanin, CEO of Cofinimmo, will be the new Chairman of EPRA.

EPRA's Annual General Meeting has approved Jean-Pierre's appointment to his new duties until 2026. Jean-Pierre Hanin, who succeeds Colonial's Pere Viñolas Serra, has been a member of EPRA's Board of Directors for the past five years. 

He, according to the announcement, intends to utilize his extensive experience in real estate to support members and the industry on the path to recovery, further promoting sustainability and strengthening the development of the European listed real estate sector.

With his extensive experience, Jean-Pierre will lead EPRA through these challenging times for the real estate industry. 

Jean-Pierre commented, "I look forward to chairing EPRA, succeeding a long list of distinguished leaders. Transparency is an asset, especially as investors become more selective. Together with the EPRA team, we will deepen communication among members and market stakeholders, which is crucial in the current environment. The success of listed real estate over the next decade will depend on delivering for both investors and society as a whole." 

Viñolas Serra noted, "I am proud of what we achieved with the EPRA team. Jean-Pierre is an exceptional leader, and I am confident he will continue to advance our progress towards greater sustainability and growth."
