JYSK, the international Danish retail chain specializing in home and sleep products, continues its dynamic expansion in the Greek market. Since opening its first store in Athens in September 2015, JYSK has steadily grown its footprint across the country. With the addition of two new stores in Thiva and Chrysoupoli, the company now operates a total of 68 physical locations in Greece.
In parallel with its retail network, JYSK.gr, the company’s e-commerce platform, has seen considerable success, while a dedicated B2B division supports the needs of professional customers, including businesses and hospitality operators.
According to a recent announcement, JYSK’s expansion strategy aims to establish a nationwide network of over 70 stores, with potential for even more depending on the availability of suitable locations in regional cities and underserved municipalities in Athens and Thessaloniki. With the current goal of 70 stores nearly achieved, the company now sets its sights on a long-term objective of reaching or even surpassing 100 stores across the country. The ultimate aim is to provide easy and fast access to a JYSK store for customers in every municipality, city, region, or island in Greece.
The new store in Chrysoupoli is JYSK’s second location in the Kavala regional unit, following the successful launch of its first store in the city of Kavala several years ago. Located on Verginas Street, the new store features a sales area of over 900 square meters and is set to open its doors to the public on Thursday, August 28 at 9:00 AM.
Similarly, the new store in Thiva is JYSK’s first in the region of Viotia, offering a new, convenient option for both private and professional customers. Positioned to serve not only Thiva but also surrounding areas such as Livadia, Arachova, and the wider region, the store is expected to be a valuable resource for home renovations, tourist accommodations, and commercial spaces. Located at the 2nd kilometer of the Thiva–Mouriki Road, the store also boasts a sales area of over 900 square meters and will open on the same day, Thursday, August 28 at 9:00 AM.
With this ongoing expansion, JYSK continues to strengthen its presence in the Greek retail landscape, reaffirming its commitment to accessibility, affordability, and high-quality home solutions for every customer.
