According to the terms of the Call for Tender, the utilization of the property will be carried out through the establishment and transfer of a 99-year superficies right. The tender process will be conducted in a single phase, with the submission deadline set for 27 March 2026 at 16:00.
The property, originally constructed and operated for the 2004 Olympic Games, comprises a combination of indoor and outdoor facilities related to equestrian sports, including stables, arenas, an administrative building, a veterinary clinic, and more. It is located within the archaeological site of the ancient settlement of Myrrinoundas and borders the Hippodrome to the east.
In accordance with Law 3342/2005 on post-Olympic use, in addition to the existing facilities, the following developments are permitted, among others: a golf course, an equestrian museum, riding schools for horses and riders, retail outlets selling equestrian-related goods, exhibition spaces, dining facilities, auction areas, a hotel, a helipad, a park suitable for triathlon events and recreational riding, as well as parking areas.
