INTRACOM HOLDINGS has announced the establishment of INTRACOM REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT LTD, based in Nicosia, Cyprus, with the objective of investing in real estate.

The company is jointly owned in equal parts: 50% by the Cypriot company INTRACOM OPERATIONS LIMITED, a subsidiary of INTRACOM HOLDINGS, and 50% by the Cypriot company GREEN HYDEPARK INVESTMENT LIMITED, which is wholly owned by shipping magnate Giorgos Moundreas.

Through Green Hydepark Investment Limited, Mr. Moundreas also holds an approximately 8.5% stake in Evropi Holdings, another member of the INTRACOM HOLDINGS group. He retained this stake following the company’s recent €68.3 million capital increase, contributing around €5.8 million.

Evropi Holdings was formed through the merger of KLM S.A. and INTRACOM PROPERTIES, two companies with substantial real estate portfolios. The merged entity’s assets include, among others, the group’s seven-building headquarters complex in Paiania, office spaces, an industrial property in Avdira (Xanthi), land plots in Halandri and Spata, as well as retail properties on Ermou Street.
