The time available to taxpayers to file their tax report without penalty is running out.

As the Minister of Finance, Christos Staikouras stated on the "Parapolitika" radio station, no further extension will be given as, as he said, "two extensions have already been given".

The Minister of Finance also stated that the process is almost complete, as the vast majority of declarations, amounting to 6.2 million, have been submitted.

Speaking about supporting households and businesses, he reiterated that the government would seek to extend the line of defense it has built in terms of precision, while stressing that there would be the possibility of another increase in the minimum wage in 2023 and an increase in some pensions.
