The year 2025 marked a milestone for Optima Asset Management A.E.D.A.K., a subsidiary of Optima Bank, as it recorded outstanding performance both in terms of returns and business growth, thereby consolidating its position at the forefront of the Greek mutual fund market.

More specifically, according to a company announcement, Optima Asset Management achieved first place in two key mutual fund categories, while also recording the highest percentage increase in assets under management in the market, confirming the effectiveness of its investment strategy and the growing confidence of investors.

Top Rankings in Two Mutual Fund Categories

In the category of Greek equity mutual funds, the Optima Greek Equity Fund delivered a return of 53.6% in 2025, ranking first among 46 funds, and significantly outperforming the Athens Stock Exchange General Index, which rose by 44.3%. Notably, this represents the highest performance across all 92 equity mutual funds investing in Greek or foreign equities.

Similarly, the Optima Greek Balanced Fund posted a return of 32.2%, ranking first among 57 mixed mutual funds. Over a four-year horizon, the fund achieved a cumulative return of 74.0%, maintaining its leading position in its category.

Strong Asset Growth and Investor Confidence

Alongside strong returns, Optima Asset Management recorded an 85% increase in assets under management in 2025, the highest growth rate in the Greek mutual fund market. Over a five-year period, assets under management grew by 950%, compared with the market average of 260%, reflecting the company’s consistent growth trajectory.

According to Optima Asset Management CEO, Mr. Aristotelis Panagiotakis, these results “are not temporary achievements, but the product of a long-term, disciplined, and effective investment strategy, grounded in the expertise and experience of the management team.”

He also noted that the results reflect the dynamic growth of the Optima Bank Group and its ability to attract investors and generate long-term value, with the aim of positioning Optima Asset Management as a benchmark in the Greek mutual fund market.
