Overall Turnover Index in Industry down 13.7% in May

The Overall Turnover Index in Industry in May 2023, compared with April 2023, recorded an increase of 5.2%.

The Hellenic Statistical Authority announces the Turnover Index in Industry with base year 2015=100.0 for May 2023, the evolution of which on the basis of provisional data, is as follows:

The Overall Turnover Index in Industry (both Domestic and Non-Domestic Market) in May 2023 recorded a decrease of 13.7% compared with the corresponding index of May 2022. The Overall Turnover Index in Industry in May 2022 increased by 54.0% compared with the corresponding index in May 2021.

The Overall Turnover Index in Industry in May 2023, compared with April 2023, recorded an increase of 5.2%.

The average Overall Turnover Index in Industry for the 12-month period from June 2022 to May 2023 increased by 16.6%, compared with the corresponding index of the 12-month period from June 2021 to May 2022. 

The average Overall Turnover Index in Industry for the 12-month period from June 2021 to May 2022 increased by 35.0% compared with the corresponding index of the 12-month period from June 2020 to May 2021.
