During the first two months of 2024, Athens International Airport experienced a significant growth in passenger traffic. In detail, both domestic and international passenger traffic exceeded the levels of 2023 by 11.8% and 21.5% respectively.
Overall, the airport welcomed 3.2 million passengers, marking an increase of 14.4% compared to the same period last year. Specifically, domestic and international passenger traffic showed an increase of 9% and 17% respectively.
Furthermore, the number of flights at Athens International Airport during the first two months of 2024 reached 29,415, registering an increase of 11.8% compared to the corresponding period of 2023. Both domestic and international flights increased by 7.8% and 14.9% compared to 2023.
