Peakside has acquired the Grandhotel Hessischer Hof and an adjacent office property in Frankfurt. Those are the plans for the hotel.

The Grand Hotel in Frankfurt was built in 1952 on the site of the city palace of Wolfgang Prince of Hesse. The property with a gross floor area of around 12,330 square meters has already been extensively renovated by the seller over the past ten years.

The building, previously operated as a five-star hotel, has 121 rooms and suites, a 180 square meter presidential suite, eleven function rooms, a restaurant, a bar, four terraces, a winter garden, a spa and fitness area with a view over the Frankfurt rooftops and 80 cars -Pitches. 

The hotel was a member of The Leading Hotels of the World. The adjoining office property has 560 square meters and is let to two tenants. After they move out, it will be renovated and rented out again.
