The Ministry of Environment and Energy announces that the platform for completing the Electronic Building Identity is now open, as part of the “Exoikonomo – Renovate for Youth” program, for applications that have been selected under the “Renovate” component.

As the procedure states, it concerns young applicants who have already submitted a participation request and represents the next step toward the energy and functional upgrade of their primary residence.

The program, implemented through the Recovery and Resilience Fund, aims to improve the energy class of homes by at least three levels (achieving over 30% primary energy savings), combining environmental protection with substantial support for the younger generation in acquiring and improving their first home.

So far, 2,350 applications have been included in this program, with a total budget of €31,956,765, and the deadline for its completion is set for April 30, 2026.

To date, under the programs “Exoikonomo 2021,” “Exoikonomo 2023,” and “Exoikonomo for Youth,” 98,437 beneficiaries have received subsidies totaling €1,381,121,543, with increased funding percentages for vulnerable households.

As part of the Government’s measures to address housing challenges, the Ministry of Environment and Energy, through the “Exoikonomo – Renovate for Youth” program, supports the younger generation by ensuring modern, energy-efficient, and high-quality housing, providing tangible benefits for citizens and the environment.
