PRODEA Investments announced the lease of Karela Business Park, its largest office complex, to MYTILINEOS.

The new lease to MYTILINEOS, a top-tier company with a leading position, international presence and continuous growth, has a 15 year duration with a minimum tenure of 12 years. It has been implemented within just three months following the vacation of the asset by its former tenant.

The complex is planned to house part of MYTILINEOS' operations. Prodea and MYTILINEOS begin a long-term collaboration by creating synergies in the sectors in which they operate.

Karela Business Park, a complex of 6 office buildings with a total structure above ground of 29,000 sqm and 1,100 parking spaces, is Greece's first LEED GOLD-certified green building and a prime example of the exceptional investment characteristics of PRODEA's portfolio.

The building offers high-quality spaces that are easily adaptable to the operational needs of the tenant.

At the same time, it has modern, energy-saving and carbon footprint reduction systems in place, such as a central energy management system, an external shading system to reduce air conditioning requirements, a green roof, and a set of sustainable infrastructure, such as bicycle parking spaces, waste recycling infrastructure in multiple streams, parking and charging spaces for electric/hybrid vehicles, and a biological cleaning system.

The building is located within a short distance from the business center of Maroussi, it is easily accessible from Attiki Odos and is close to the "Kantza" station (metro and suburban train).

It is noted that access to the property is expected to be further improved with the operation of a new metro station right in front of the property (the project is expected to be completed in the first half of 2025).
