According to a recent announcement, the lighting of the chimney, curated by internationally renowned artist Eleftheria Deco, symbolizes the company’s commitment to revitalizing the historic Cambas complex, breathing life and light back into the old site.
As part of the company’s investment plan, the renovation of the winery and the restoration of the historic station building and Villa Cambas aim to bridge the heritage of the past with the present, showcasing the significant contributions of its people to Greek winemaking.
The Cambas Project is one of the major investment initiatives designed to transform the Eastern Attica region into a dynamic center for innovation, entrepreneurship, culture, sports, and entertainment.
This ambitious project seeks to revitalize an entire neighborhood, covering an area of 315 acres under urban development, in a prime location in the heart of Attica, on the site of the former Kampas winery. It is expected to be a pioneering endeavor within Greece, as it combines innovative approaches to public space management with the promotion and preservation of the historic winery. The project will create an attractive, open, and accessible outdoor environment for all residents of Attica.
The area’s accessibility will be enhanced, offering quick and easy connections from across Attica, with direct access via Attiki Odos, the Suburban Railway, and the Metro. Notably, 50% of the total area, equivalent to 157 acres, will be donated to the Municipality of Pallini for public use, further expanding available space for green and recreational areas.

The company emphasizes sustainability through the creation of green spaces, organic vineyards, eco-friendly buildings, and the integration of renewable energy sources. REDS aims to establish a model of sustainable urban development that benefits both residents and the environment, promoting harmony between human activity and nature.
The company also plans to capitalize on the historic significance of the estate by transforming the winery into a wine museum, seamlessly blending modern living with the rural landscape’s existing elements. This will create an ideal 24/7 destination for both locals and visitors, offering cultural activities, exhibitions, dining, and recreational spaces. In essence, it will be a comprehensive intervention that merges heritage with the technological and sustainable advances of the new era, fostering a modern lifestyle rooted in history while looking toward the future.
At present, the company is in the initial stages of preparing the Masterplan and developing restoration studies for the listed buildings, including the Winery and Villa Cambas, as part of the process for obtaining the latest building permits.
In the near term, work will commence on restoring the station building, which will serve as a cultural space. This project is in the final stages of the licensing process, with an implementation timeline of approximately six months.
As highlighted in the announcement, this investment is expected to position Eastern Attica at the forefront of development, turning the region into a hub for entrepreneurship, entertainment, sports, innovation, and culture. It will contribute significant value to the local society and economy. Pallini is set to become a central reference point for entrepreneurship and social well-being, balancing urban development with environmental responsibility, while attracting businesses, local communities, and visitors from across Attica.
