Specifically, as mentioned in a post by the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, in charge of State Aid and Rehabilitation from Natural Disasters, Mr. Christos Triantopoulos, in the bill entitled "Modernization of the operating framework of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission - of residence in the body of acquisition and re-lease of chapter A 'of the second part of the third book of law 4738/2020 - Incorporation in the Greek legislation of Directives (EU) 2020/1151 and (EU) 2021/1159, new reduced Uniform Property Tax (ENFIA), urgent tax and customs regulations for the treatment of in particular the energy crisis and other provisions ", the exemption from the ENFIA payment for the property owners of Northern Evia is also foreseen in 2022.
In particular, article 42 of the bill states that "the properties located within the administrative boundaries of the Municipalities of Mantoudi-Limni-Agia Anna and Istiaia-Edipsos of the Regional Unit of Evia of the Region of Central Greece are exempted for the years 2021 and 2022, provided ownership or other rights in rem in the property belong to the taxpayer for those years ". It is been clarified that with the Act of Legislative Content ratified with art. 2 of Law 4824/2021 (Government Gazette A '156 / 02.09.2021) an exemption from the payment of ENFIA in 2021 for the said areas had already been provided.
