The study refers to the Vasilissis Olga Avenue's redevelopment into a pedestrian street, in order to form a wide common area that will unite the archeological site of Olympia with the Zappeion and the National Garden and will complete the archeological walk from Kerameikos to Panathina.

The study's boundary extends from the junction of Vasilissis Olgas Avenue with Vassileos Konstantinou Avenue and Ardittou Avenue to its junction with Amalias Avenue, including the area surrounding Hadrian's Gate, while its area is approximately 23,000 square meters. .

The mayor of Athens, Costas Bakogiannis, responding to the accusations of the opposition factions, pointed out, among other things, that in the past in important interventions-works in the city, such as in the pedestrian streets of Dionysios Areopagitos, Ermou and Bucharest, Deputy Mayor Vassilis Axiotis underlined the value of this project for Athens.

From the "Open City" faction, the municipal councilor, Rigas Axelos, claimed, among other things, that with what is being launched, "the operation of the city is being overturned." The leader of the "People's Rally", Nikos Sofianos, stated that he aims to "serve the tourist product Athens" and that "the millions of tourists who visit it do not leave the city crumpled".
