The Danish company Sanders Group, which operates in the short-term accommodation sector across various European markets, has announced its intention to proceed with the listing of its shares on the Athens Stock Exchange.

According to a recent announcement, specialized firms have already been assigned to conduct the necessary studies and preparations for the company's public offering on the Athens Stock Exchange.

As stated by Sanders Group, this decision is part of a broader growth strategy aimed at enhancing its presence in the Greek market and expanding its property portfolio. The company already owns more than 500 apartments in Greece and Cyprus, and also operates in countries such as Denmark, Spain, Portugal, and Bulgaria. As part of its expansion plans, the goal is to increase the number of available accommodations to over 2,000 within the next two years.

Sanders Group operates with an innovative property management model that combines elements of the hospitality experience with the philosophy of short-term rentals. The company leases properties with long-term contracts, renovates them to high standards with Scandinavian aesthetics, and manages them through proprietary technological tools. This approach allows them to offer uniformly decorated and fully equipped apartments intended for short-term stays in select locations.

Strategically, Sanders Group positions itself between four-star and five-star hotels in terms of the services offered, and platforms like Airbnb in terms of pricing. In a period when the short-term rental market faces challenges, Sanders stands out by relying on a more stable business model that does not depend solely on individual property owners.

As the founder of the company, Bo Sander, highlights, Greece is a strategic market for Sanders Group’s development, combining a dynamic tourism sector with increasing demand for alternative forms of accommodation. He states, "The combined approach of Scandinavian organization and the Greek philosophy of life creates a product with unique potential, which could serve as a benchmark for other markets."

The company believes that its entry into the Athens Stock Exchange will strengthen its funding prospects for development plans, offering the opportunity to attract new investors and capital. According to the announcement, the listing process is already underway, with specialized consultants overseeing the required studies and preparations.

With this move, Sanders Group reaffirms its confidence in the Greek market, reinforcing its presence and creating new opportunities within the short-term accommodation sector.
