The object of the tender is the long-term lease of the only available organized beach in the Municipality of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni designated for development and commercial use. The lease duration is 20 years, with an option to extend for an additional 10 years. The property covers a total area of 72,767.71 sq.m., with a permitted building area of 2,000 sq.m., including existing structures such as the iconic former restaurant “Okeanis.” The beachfront extends to 638.50 meters.
The tender process is being conducted in two phases. Phase A, which concluded today, involved a call for expressions of interest. Next, selected investors will proceed to Phase B, where they will be invited to submit binding offers in accordance with the tender’s terms.
Vouliagmeni Beach is the most popular organized and accessible beach on the Athens Riviera, located just 25 km from the city center. In 2024, it welcomed 420,000 visitors, with a daily hosting capacity of 8,000 people.
