The program, funded by the Ministry of Environment and Energy, provides for the creation of an integrated system of 45 electric bicycles to promote eco-friendly transportation in Nea Smyrni.
Residents will have access to the electric bikes, which will be available at seven designated locations throughout the city:
- 102 El. Venizelou Street, in front of the playground
- Thali Milissiou Street, in front of the 12th Primary School
- At the intersection of Tataoulon and Ellispontou Streets, within the public green space
- Artakis Street, outside the Municipal Swimming Pool
- At the intersection of Efesou and El. Venizelou Streets, in front of the Grove (Alsos)
- Karyllou Square, opposite the entrance to Polis Park
- Agia Fotinis Street, at the intersection with Thrakis Street
