Meganisi is the largest island of the Petalia complex with a total area of 11,290,616 sq.m. which are located in the southern Evoia, and which are characterized as the "Greek Maldives".
The project is in the southern part of Megalonisos, with southeastern orientation in a location which is well protected by the prevailing winds. The project has direct sea view and access to a sandy private beach and the cove can be used as a mooring site for yachts and sailing boats. Characterized by its golden sandy beach, rocky shores and turquoise waters, this secluded location is poised for a unique development.
The resort is being developed on a privately owned area of 550,000 sq.m. where the construction of 75 ultra-luxurious villas and 20 branded residences, restaurants, wellness and fitness areas, a beach club, which will offer a wide range of particularly high-quality services, is planned.
"Six Senses Megalonisos" will be fully energy self-sufficient, aiming to achieve a zero carbon footprint. At the same time, it will be powered by solar panels in combination with the use of sustainable materials and the implementation of best practices during the period of its construction and operation.
It is been reninded that in the north-western part of the island, on a total area of 169,204.82sqm, there is the "Picasso" villa, which belonged until 2015 to Pablo Picasso's daughter, Paloma, and was reportedly sold to a company of interests of the David family .
The amount of the investment is estimated to exceed €280 million.
