The Superfund hired specialist consultants PLANET and TRITON through a relevant tender to conduct a prefeasibility study for the development of the Corinth Canal Real Estate.

Based on the 2023 update of the Grrek Superfund report, a comprehensive Strategic Development Plan has been created for the Canal to explore new operational functions. The report also includes prefeasibility studies that were conducted for two marinas and the widening and deepening of the canal.

Meanwhile the Superfund is preparing a series of studies to develop the Canal and create new revenue streams from its Real Estate.

A preliminary feasibility study (prefeasibility study) for the location of tourist port(s) is included in this project.

The Superfund reports that development interventions in the Corinth Canal are currently in progress. This will provide a significant boost to trade, navigation through the Canal, promotion of cultural and historical identity, tourism, and overall development of the surrounding area.
