Greystar and Ten Brinke are collaborating on the development of a new residential project in Berlin-Marzahn.

By the end of 2028, a total of 444 rental apartments, along with additional commercial spaces, are expected to be constructed on a plot of approximately 8,000 sq.m. at Jan-Petersen-Straße 14/18. Greystar acquired the property from the investment company Periskop, in collaboration with CRX Real Estate, while Ten Brinke has been appointed to develop the project and serve as general contractor.

Housing for Middle-Income Households

The project will feature an eleven-story tower and a six-story residential complex, offering studios as well as one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. The privately rented units are aimed at middle-income households. Ground-floor commercial spaces are designed to contribute to the area’s revitalization, while additional resident services will enhance the overall living experience. Construction is scheduled to begin by summer 2026, pending the issuance of a building permit.

Marzahn-Mitte stands out for its proximity to public transportation, retail stores, educational and childcare facilities, and extensive green spaces. The Bürgerpark Marzahn tram stop is just minutes away, the Raoul-Wallenberg-Straße S-Bahn station is less than 20 minutes away, and Alexanderplatz can be reached in roughly 40 minutes.

For working residents, the location offers further advantages, being close to business and technology parks as well as Mediaspree—one of Berlin’s largest office hubs—home to major companies such as Amazon, Zalando, and Coca-Cola
