The reconstruction works have been completed, and today, on 14/03/2025, the A039 Bridge on the Old National Road (P.E.O.) Athens-Corinth at the Loutraki junction (Km 75.4) is being returned to normal operation.

The bridge, which spans across the highway, was demolished on 07/06/2024 following a traffic accident involving a tanker truck, which caused extensive damage to the structure.

The reconstruction was entrusted to the construction company AKTOR S.A. through APION KLEOS and was completed rapidly due to the seamless coordination of all involved parties (Ministry – Independent Engineer – Construction Consortium – Olympia Odos). Their concerted efforts were crucial in addressing the technical and operational challenges posed by the project’s nature and the urgent need to reopen the Athens-Corinth Old National Road as quickly as possible.
