The facilities and land plot of the old industrial complex "Petsetakis" near Thebes was acquired by Cenergy group, in a transaction of "Hellenic Cables" a Cenergy's subsidiary.

This is the factory for the production of flexible and hard plastic pipes and fittings with the currently existing equipment of the long-established historical Petsetakis plastic pipe industry.

The complex was acquired for 7.4 million euros through an auction with the expedited ETHNIKI bank, where no other bids were submitted.

The initial offer price for the property was set at 7.36 million euros.

The asset comprises comprises building facilities of 49,673 sq.m on a land area of ​​245,718 sq.m and the remaining mechanical equipment.

According to sources familiar with Viohalco group, Cenergy and "Hellenic cables" parent copmany, a new unit for the manufacture of land or underwater cables of special specifications will be created there, so that the group will be able to respond to the growing international demand.

It is been noted that Cenergy already has three industrial cable manufacturing units and has outstanding signed contracts for cable deliveries worth 1.1 billion euros.
