In particular the project refers to the new alignment of the Amariotikos Road, specifically the first section Rethymno - Phragma Potamon. The contract is for the construction works, for the new alignment of Section 13 Road from Rethymno to the River Dam, specifically in the sections, "Rethymno- Tzivera, 1.81 km long. Interventions from the exit of the settlement of Prasses (south) - to the church of Saint Foteinis.
Interventions from the Sima Bridge to the Potamon dam area, which include the construction of a new stream bridge with a span of 8m, the construction of a new Sima bridge with two spans of 37.10 m, as well as the construction of three new level junctions connecting to the existing local road network, to Giannoudi, Prasses, Myrthos".
In addition, trees and shrubs will be planted on the surfaces, which are offered for this purpose and the construction of a corresponding irrigation network, as well as street lighting works at the locations of the level junctions.
The project comprises also expropriations for the construction of the Rethymnon section, River Dam, restoration of Public Benefit Organizations networks, provision of Technical Consultant-Researcher services and archaeological supervision works.
