From Monday, April 1, 2024, the Thessaloniki Land Office of the Hellenic Land Registry will begin operations (Government Gazette 1253/Β΄21-2-2024).

"The operation of the Cadastre Office of Thessaloniki has been pending since 2018 and we are putting an end to it. From April 1st, Thessaloniki will finally have a Land Registry and deeds will be able to be filed digitally. We therefore invite the public to use the digital property transfer file at akinita.gov.gr for the purchase and sale of natural persons and the digital services available for citizens and professionals through ktimatologio.gov.gr," said the Deputy Minister of Digital Governance, Konstantinos Kyranakis.

For his part, the president of the Hellenic Land Registry, Stelios Sakaretsios, said: "The Land Registry Office of Thessaloniki is joining the Hellenic Land Registry from April 1, as promised by the Deputy Minister of Digital Governance, Konstantinos Kyranakis. This is one of the largest Land Registry Offices in the country which will take over several outstanding cases of the abolished Mortgage Offices, which, however, with the use of the digital tools of the Hellenic Land Registry, are going to be eliminated at a rapid pace. At the Neapolis Mortgage Office there were major service problems with queues starting at four in the morning. Citizens and professionals will now be able to be served digitally and quickly without the inconvenience they experienced in recent years."

The Land Registry Office of Thessaloniki, after the abolition of the Salaried Mortgage Agency of Thessaloniki and the Special Salaried Mortgage Agency of Neapolis, is responsible for the pre-Kapodistrian OTAs: THESSALONIKIS, PYLIAS, AGIOS PAULOS, AMBELOKIPON, ELEFTHERIOU-KORDELIOU (ELEFTHERIOU), EFKARPIAS, MENEMENIS, NEAS MAGNIS IAS AND DIAVATON (IONIA), PEFKON, SYKEON, TRIANDRIA, AGIOS ATHANASIOU, ANGHIALOU, GEFIRA, KALOCHORIO, KYMINON, NEON MALGARO, SINDO, HALASTRA, ANTOLIKOU, BATHYLAKKO, NEAS MESIMBRIA, NAPOLI, ASVESTOCHORIO, EXOCHI, HORTIATI, EVOSMOS, POLYCHNIS, STAVROUPOLEOS, OREAKASTROU .
