The building permits for the Private Building Activity issued in Greece in June 2023 amounted to 2,423.
This figurecorresponds to 495,334 m2 of surface and 2,350,370 m3 of volume. In comparison with the same month of 2022 there isan 11.9% increase in the number of building permits, a 9.6% increase in surface and a 26.7% increase in volume.
The building permits for the Public Building Activity issued in Greece in June 2023 amounted to 38. This figurecorresponds to 14,105 m2 of surface and 62,924 m3 of volume. Public Building Activity accounted for a 2.6% of the totalbuilding volume in June 2023. In the last twelve months, from July 2022 until June 2023, Total Building Activity (private-public) in Greece, calculatedon the basis of the number of issued building permits, amounted to 26,543. This figure corresponds to 5,940,368 m2ofsurface and 26,925,614 m3 of volume. In comparison with the corresponding period from July 2021 until June 2022,there is a 10.1% increase in the number of building permits, a 3.5% increase in surface and a 6.2% increase in volume.
In the same period, from July 2022 untill June 2023, Private Building Activity in Greece recorded a 9.6% increase in thenumber of issued building permits, a 2.6% increase in surface and a 5.4% increase in volume, compared with thecorresponding period from July 2021 to June 2022.
During the same period, Public Building Activity accountedfor a 2.4% of the total building volume. During the period January - June 2023, Total Building Activity (private-public) in Greece recorded an 11.7% increase inthe number of issued building permits, a 15.3% increase in surface and a 15.9% increase in volume, compared with thecorresponding period of 2022.
During the same period, January - June 2023, Private Building Activity in Greecerecorded an 11.6% increase in the number of issued building permits, a 15.0% increase in surface and a 15.9% increasein volume, in comparison with the period from January - June 2022.
