The building permits for the Private Building Activity issued in Greece in November 2022 amounted to 2,493. This figurecorresponds to 571,961 m2 of surface and 2,552,128 m3 of volume. In comparison with the same month of 2021 there isan 8.3% increase in the number of building permits, a 0.3% increase in surface and a 0.8% increase in volume.
The building permits for the Public Building Activity issued in Greece in November 2022 amounted to 25.
This figurecorresponds to 8,409 m2 of surface and 46,176 m3 of volume. Public Building Activity accounted for a 1.8% of the totalbuilding volume in November 2022. In the last twelve months, from December 2021 until November 2022, Total Building Activity (private-public) in Greece,calculated on the basis of the number of issued building permits, amounted to 24,816. This figure corresponds to5,393,988 m2 of surface and 24,063,280 m3 of volume.
In comparison with the corresponding period from December2020 until November 2021, there is a 5.0% increase in the number of building permits, a 10.7% decrease in surface anda 5.1% decrease in volume.
In the same period, from December 2021 untill November 2022, Private Building Activity in Greece recorded a 4.7%increase in the number of issued building permits, an 11.4% decrease in surface and a 5.3% decrease in volume,compared with the corresponding period from December 2020 to November 2021.
During the same period,Public Building Activity accounted for a 2.4% of the total building volume. During the period January - November 2022, Total Building Activity (private-public) in Greece recorded a 3.9% increasein the number of issued building permits, an 11.9% decrease in surface and a 6.7% decrease in volume, compared withthe corresponding period of 2021.
During the same period, January - November 2022, Private Building Activityin Greece recorded a 3.5% increase in the number of issued building permits, a 12.8% decrease in surface and a 7.0%decrease in volume, in comparison with the period of January - November 2021.
