ZARA inks deal as "anchor tenant" in Piraeus Tower

The Inditex group leases a store with a total area of 5,850 sq.m from the Ground Floor up to the 2nd floor for the ZARA and ZARA Home brands.

Dimand has announced the agreement with Inditex, the leading retail clothing and footwear group, as an "anchor tenant" in Piraeus Tower.

According to the company, the specific deal concerns the lease of a store with a total area of 5,850 sq.m., which will occupy spaces from the ground floor up to the 2nd floor, for use by Zara and Zara Home.

And the agreement with Primark may not have borne fruit, however, near the "entrance" of the emblematic landmark of the city of Piraeus, it seems that the British giant JD Sports is also located, which Cosmos Sport has joined since 2021. The group counts over from 3,400 stores in 32 countries including Greece.

Within the development plan of JD Sports Fashion Plc. is also the opening of a new store over 1000 sq.m. in the building with the endless view, which will represent the most innovative, state-of-the-art, green practices. A model of sustainable design, the renovated building of 34,600 sq.m. it is going to be certified with the highest Platinum certification, according to the international system of sustainable development LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) but also with the WELL certification (WELL Building Standard) which focuses on the health, well-being and productivity of the building's users.

It is been recalled that although the majority of Piraeus Tower will consist of office spaces, with a total area of 19,250 sq.m. the first three floors are designed for commercial use. According to the reconstruction schedule, it is predicted that the Tower will be completed and handed over to the new users in October 2023.
