"Taking into account the thematic content of the forest map (posted, certified or ratified) of each area, areas with designation, and additional information, are occupied by the provisions of paragraph 4 of article 44 n. 998/1979 as in force, in order to follow the procedure of revocation (amendment) of the decision declaring an area as reforestable.The relevant Forest Authority (Forestry Office / Directorate of Forests without Forestry Office), immediately makes a competent proposal on the procedure, observing the provisions of the above relevant provision."
The procedure above is being carried out ex officio for areas that did not constitute and do not constitute forests or forest areas after the correction of obvious errors or after the issuance of a decision of the Objection Examination Committees (EPAA). It should be noted that the above procedure is not required on areas occupied by the provisions of the second paragraph of par. 8 of article 14 of Law 998/1979 as in force, on which the relevant corrections of the forest map are implemented directly by the relevant Forest Directorate.
