Ιn particular, for retail, catering, culture, sports, gyms, tourism, transportation, hairdressers, beauty salons, bookstores and businesses that were closed by state order during the first fortnight of January, the measure of complete suspension of rent payment, which applies for January, extends to February.
80% of the monthly agreed rent - and not on the loss - will be reimbursed to the owners from the state budget, so that they do not have further losses. In this way, the cost of rent is shared between state (80%) and owner (20%). Therefore, the company that uses the property will not pay rent in February, for the second consecutive month.
In addition, for legal entities that lease real estate to these companies, the owners will be reimbursed by 60% of the monthly rent for February.
The measure applies to all businesses that were closed by state order until today, January 15. It includes all retail businesses, whether they operating with home-based, e-commerce or telephone services, catering businesses, whether operating with product distribution and / or delivery from stores, hair salons and beauty salons , businesses in the fields of culture and sports, gyms and other businesses that remain closed by state order.
In addition, tourism businesses, such as hotels, accommodation and travel agencies, and transport services are included, as they are particularly affected by the ban on travel between counties.
It is noted that, as already announced, from next Monday, January 18, the payments of the 50% of the November rents will be deposited to the accounts of the eligible property owners.
