Another move forward for the Asteria Glyfadas redevelopment project

The Central Council of Architecture (KESA) approved on Thursday's meeting the architectural study for the Asteria Glyfadas refurbishment according to the Hellenic Ministry of Environment and Energy.

The study refers to the tourist investment project called "Asteria Glyfadas" that presents the refurbishment and modernization of the existing five star hotel unit with 400 beds capacity.

According to the architectural study there will be constructed a total of 115 luxurious rooms, 14 tourist houses, 12 suites, a showroom and a multipurpose room, 2 restaurants, an archeological walk, activities for children and teenagers and a rejuvenation center.

The tourism investment also envisages the creation of a network for the use of small electric cars with charging stations, a network of sidewalks, two archeological walks as well as open-air art exhibitions. 

The luxury hotel complex will operate as Kerzner International's "One&Only".

Kerzner will also have the hotel's management. It is the second hotel complex that will operate under this brand after the One & Only Kea Resort in Kea (Jia) of Dolphin Capital.
