This shall be the 3rd extrusion line in the unit, which enhances its production capacity by 60%, as it utilizes the most modern robotic technologies, while at the same time reduces the environmental footprint of production.
The new line has an annual capacity of 10,000 tons of aluminum profiles, which are added to the production of 18,000 tons, of the 2 pre-existing lines, with presses that have a power from 1850 to 2500 metric tons (MT). It is part of a series of significant investments in upgrading and expanding the technological and building infrastructure of ALUMINCO, achieving continuous integration of innovation in its products and quality increase of its production.
It is been reminded that Aluminco has recently announced the operation of a vertical unit in Kalochori, Thessaloniki with a capacity of 7,000 tons per year. With this investment, the production capacity of Aluminco amounts to 35,000 tons of aluminum profiles per year.
