The Ministry's decision was published in the Official Gazette and refers to the Special Program for the Development of Low Power Photovoltaic Systems in residences connected with a corresponding household supply.

In detail, the Program refers to photovoltaic systems for energy production embeded into the Grid, which are installed on buildings (on the roof or roof of a building, including terraces, facades and awnings, or on the ground, as well as on solar tracking systems that are installed on ground.

The new Program refers the Greek Territory. The maximum power of the photovoltaic systems per installation within the Program is defined, for the mainland, the Islands Interconnected with the System and Crete at 6 kWp and for the other Non-Interconnected Islands at 3 kWp.

The right to join the Program has natural persons who are not entrepreneurs who either own the space where the production station is located or have its legal use (eg through lease, free concession, etc.) and already have during the time of submission of the relevant application for inclusion in the Program ensure the written consent of the site owner.

The Compensation Agreement for a photovoltaic system (hereinafter referred to as the "Compensation Agreement") is concluded between the owner of the photovoltaic system and the supplier representing its consumption supply in the building where the photovoltaic system is installed, for a period of twenty (20) years. activation of the photovoltaic system connection.
