The Ministry of Justice is looking for a "green" building to house the new Piraeus Courthouse.

Specifically, the Greek Court Property Fund announced a public tender to purchase a building suitable to housing the courts and judicial services of Piraeus.

The building with a total area of 30.000 sqm (with a deviation of + - 5%), which may not have been constructed yet, should be self-contained in a single building block, and have energy consumption at least 20% lower than the thresholds set for the construction of almost zero energy buildings.

In addition, the property should be located within the boundaries of the Municipality of Piraeus, near a tram line or O.A.S.A. or underground or overground railway line, to be far from the main port of Piraeus for a maximum of 1.500m and a minimum of 500m, to be located near a main road with direct connection to the port of Piraeus and the city of Athens, as well as and have direct access to National Roads.

For this acquisition the ministry has deployed €80.954.000, which will be funded by €17.144.000 from the Public Investment Program and by €63.810,000 from the Recovery and Sustainability Fund.

The competition will be held on December 10, 2021, Friday, starting at 11:00 and ending at 13:00.
