Strong interest for the project of turning digital the Greek cadastre

The tender for the digitization of the paper archives of the Land Registry of the country with more than 600 million pages in a total of 390 Mortgage Offices, with a total budget of c.€ 310 million, attracts intense interest.

After two extensions, the new opening date of the offers was set for next Monday 17/01/2022 at 11:00 a.m.

According to relevant information, several companies in the IT and telecommunications sector have submitted bids, including Cosmote, Wind and Vodafone.

The project is divided into five sections in which the mortgage offices of the 13 Regions of the country are being grouped, while the first section comprises the creation of the information system as well as the necessary digital applications.

The project refers to the digitization of all the files of the Transfer and Mortgage system and the pledge system, as well as the implementation of electronic Applications and 2/9 Information System for their maintenance and information, to which through a web portal will be accessible by those legally interested (citizens, lawyers, notaries, etc.).
