Through this project, the administration wants to re-establish Thessaloniki all over the world and to include it "in old and new maps - tourist, business, cultural, historical" and, at the same time, to upgrade public space.
The aim of the competition is, among other things, the quality and environmental upgrade of the Aristotelous axis - including the homonymous square, the pedestrian sections of the street and the rectangular widening of the axis at the junction with Egnatia street - revitalizing public space and boosting traffic.
