The Ministry of Energy declares international tender for new waste management units

The international tender for the "Feasibility study for the construction of energy utilization of waste management units network" of the work entitled: "Support to entities for maturation and effective implementation of infrastructure works", with a total budget of 434,000 euros (including VAT), with a closing date of March 18, 2022 has been announced by the Ministry of Environment and Energy.

According to the new National Waste Management Plan (ESDA), is planned the construction of 3-4 (indicative number) units of heat treatment of mixed residual MSW and / or secondary fuels (Wasteto-Energy / WtE units) with indicative geographical distribution listed in the ECHR.

Responsible body for all further actions for the implementation of energy recovery units with heat treatment is the Greek Ministry of Energy.
