According to the plan, the Medical Park/Health Services Park will be developed in the area, which will comprise a complex of Clinics with a capacity of 420 hospital beds. The implementing body is the company "Eurosite Health Service SA" which belongs to the Athens Medical Group and the total amount of the investment will reach €150 million.
The facilities will employ around 2,500 people as permanent staff, both unskilled and at a particularly high scientific level, and around 3,000 collaborating doctors.
The Medical Park will be developed on an area of approximately 83 acres. in Peania next to the facilities of the American college and close to the Kamba estate in Katza.
Four nursing units with a total area of approximately 17,000 sqm, support areas of 9,750 sqm, laboratory areas of 12,000 sqm and a clinical research center of 1900 sqm -will be created there.
The average building factor for the total area of the property (82,530.92 sq.m) will not exceed 0.45 and the total surface of the building 37,138.92 sq.m.
The maximum coverage allowed is 30%, the maximum height is 18.0 m with a maximum number of floors of 5.
The start of work is planned for the end of 2023 with the aim of having the unit operational in January 2026.
