The Boutique Hotel mark is an official certification for small hotels in Greece that offer exceptional aesthetics and innovative services. It is also the leading community of small distinguished hotels in the country. At a recent event, it was noted that the program has seen a significant increase in participation, with over 200 members. In response, a new communication strategy will be developed to target both domestic and international tourists. The certification serves as a selection criterion for modern travelers looking for a quality and unique tourist experience.
The Boutique Hotel program includes a certification process and offers various benefits to its members, such as the possibility of upgrading to a higher star category, professional development through B2B forums, organized participation in international tourism exhibitions, participation in advertising campaigns, visibility on the program's web portal and social media, participation in specialized workshops, and more.
The communication strategy is based on the concept of creating a community of Boutique Hotel members who interact, share experiences, communicate, and receive training. The new communication identity was created by Mr. Marios Linakis, head of Sputnik Design Team|Linakis Digital, who was inspired by the Greek tradition of hospitality. The new logo features the initial "B" forming a warm Greek heart that represents the welcoming nature of the program.
The executives of the program, including Ms. Christina Tetradis, Vice President of the Hotel Chamber of Greece, Ms. Emilia Vlami, Scientific Manager of the Program, and Ms. Maria Tzannou, Marketing Consultant of the Program, announced the next big event, the B2B Forum, which will be returning with a new concept after the years of COVID-19.
As the President of Hotel Chamber of Greece, Mr. Alexandros Vassilikos, stated, "the significant increase in Program Members confirms the strategy and vision of the Chamber, to support and highlight businesses that offer upgraded and quality services in a market that is looking for diversified tourism products.
Greek hotels now compete with internationally recognized brands, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Tourism and the EOT, we will proceed with organized and targeted actions to promote the community of our members in the international tourist markets.
