With the inclusion of 74 new areas, the Land Registry for all properties in the Thessaloniki Regional Unit has been completed, marking the transition to a comprehensive and modern property management system.

The Integration of 289,281 Properties and 404,552 Rights into the Land Registry System Ushers in a New Era of Speed, Transparency, and Legal Security in Transactions

The integration of 289,281 properties and 404,552 rights into the operational land registry system marks the beginning of a new era of speed, transparency, and legal certainty in transactions, eliminating bureaucracy and facilitating the everyday lives of citizens and professionals.

The Deputy Minister of Digital Governance, Christos Boukoros, stated:
"With the launch of the Thessaloniki Land Registry Office, which has been operational for a year now, it inherited over 45,000 pending cases from the Thessaloniki Employed Land Registry and the Neapolis Special Unemployed Land Registry. Through the continuous efforts of our employees and the improvement of digital tools, which are constantly being enhanced through ongoing cooperation with associations, we aim to resolve all the pending cases from the previous land registry system by 2025."

With the operation of both the Thessaloniki Land Registry Office, one of the largest in the country, and the branches in Kalamaria and Lagkada, Thessaloniki enters a new digital era of property transactions. The goal and vision for the future of the Land Registry in the region is to ensure fast and secure service in a digital environment, providing tools that every citizen and professional can use, saving both time and expenses.

Through the use of innovative digital services for research, the submission of deeds, the issuance and payment of certificates, the Land Registry continues to fulfill its commitment to transform into a pioneering and modern service of the Greek public sector.
